Our Preventative Care clinic provides quick, 15-minute appointments for routine services, such as vaccinations and flea and tick medication on an a la carte basis.
This is a different experience from your traditional wellness visit with a primary care veterinarian:
Our medical support team will discuss your pets needs before the visit, but will only provide services upon request. Please bring all records, appointment reminder cards from your family veterinarian, or any other documents which may help you decide which services you’d like for your pet. We’ll do our best to collaborate with you on determining your healthy pet’s routine needs.
Pets are taken back to our treatment area for a brief physical assessment, vaccine administration, and test collection. During this time, your pet will be attended to by a team including a veterinary assistant, a veterinary technician, and a supervising veterinarian. Upon completion, you will be given a visit summary with the services your pet received that day, and any follow up vaccinations or visits are arranged at your discretion. We always recommend sending your list of services to your primary care veterinarian for reminders and consistency of care.
If your veterinary team discovers any concerns, they may recommend that you follow up with your regular veterinarian or at our Urgent Care Clinic, to allow more time to thoroughly evaluate and address your pet’s needs. Some concerns, though not all, may prevent us from administering vaccinations.
